Doc Holliday - your host for Live Loud Local Afternoons 12noon - 6p on the Fox weekdays

Sorry for the slightly outdated picture. Trust me, it's better than what I really look like. Here's a few facts you probably don't need to know:

First concert - Cheap Trick in the gymnasium of what was then Quincy College. I thought someone had started a campfire near the stage due to the "smoke" that had risen to the ceiling...

Favorite band - KISS...dressed up as Ace Frehley in 1978 and scared the living crap out of everyone in Hannibal.

Public Nudity? - Unfortunately yes. But it was unintentional. Got accidentally nude-i-fied at a media run at a truck and tractor pull in Nebraska in 1985. No surprise that the population of that state has been decreasing ever since. Even more embarassing? The fact that only about 500 of the 3000 people at the truck and tractor pull could even tell that I was naked from the waist down.

When WQCY ruled the airwaves in the 80's, I was.... - Believe it or not, I was on WQCY (then known as 99Q) from 1987 til about 1989. Scared the program director of WQCY at the time by inviting Lita Ford and the band Lillian Axe up into the 99Q studio. As I recall, he hid in his office while all of the leather-clad band members (including Lita) visited with me in the on-air studio. TRUE STORY: The day that Bon Jovi's "New Jersey" CD came out in 1988, I waited until the boss went into a sales meeting, then proceeded to play just about every song on the disc to a shocked Madonna audience.

My current life goals are... - To make the saying "K-R-N-WHO?" a common saying among rockers in the tri-state area.

When I'm not on the radio I'm.... - Are you kidding? I'm always on the radio. Next question....
